Gridero doesn't have a permanent free plan, and we'd rather say so in the first paragraph than three pages in.
What we do have is $199 a month for the whole office, with unlimited people and your floor plan built for you before the kickoff call. It is month to month, so the way to find out whether it is worth paying for is to run it for a month. If it is not, you cancel and there is no contract to get out of.
Who this is for
Offices where the numbers have to hold up
At a few hundred people, desk and room booking stops being a convenience and starts feeding real decisions: how much floor space to renew, which days to consolidate, whether the third floor earns its rent. Most tools were never built to be trusted that far.
Gridero is built the other way up: desks, rooms and floors are modelled as different things, and unavailable space is excluded rather than counted as bookable. If the utilization number cannot survive a lease conversation, we got the design wrong.

Big enough that desk and room booking is somebody's actual job, and that a per-seat bill has started to hurt.

Skedda and Gridero
Same job. Very different way to buy it.
Skedda is a well-rated product with a lot of happy customers, and none of this is a swipe at the software. What stops smaller offices is how you buy it. For a company of 20 people with a couple of meeting rooms, that's a lot of process for a desk booking tool.
